Student experience pathway
TheFixers.APP pathway is designed for students who need practical experience before they already have a long work history. A student can start with small, safe tasks, build confidence, collect reviewed proof, and turn that activity into a clearer Live Resume story.
This guide is organised for quick decisions, safer checks and clearer next steps.
A leadership and peer-coaching playbook for experienced student ambassadors: training checklists, safe referral rules and live-resume evidence.
Use the guide to choose the right next step and avoid spending time or money in the wrong place.
Keep the model, symptom, photos, error messages and timing together before asking for help.
Use this guide first, then choose Quick Help or the most relevant local service page.
Do not wait until the last minute if the issue affects study, campus work, proof of experience or a device you need for class.
Read the practical steps, gather the details you already have and choose the pathway that best matches your situation.
Use the linked pathway or Quick Help if you need a real person to point you to the next step.
Choose the step that solves the real problem first, then avoid adding extra tools, bookings or work until the next action is clear.
A leadership and coaching playbook with training checklists, safe referral rules, examples of what to teach and live-resume evidence. Distinct from general connection or confidence posts.
Jay runs a 20-minute club session showing new helpers how to refer work, use a safe script and avoid academic integrity issues.
An ambassador who has at least three proof points, a reliable referral process, and experience with at least one team project is ready to coach. Do not coach before you have established your own process.
The single most important habit for new helpers is knowing when to refer work. Teach the three-step decision: Can I safely do this? Is it within my scope? If not — refer, do not attempt.
Introduction (3 min): who you are and what platform activity you do. Demo (10 min): show how to handle an enquiry, use a script, and refer unsuitable work. Q&A (7 min): answer questions honestly — no overselling.
Never take work outside your scope to avoid losing a lead. Always tell the customer what you cannot do before what you can. Refer clearly and helpfully — a good referral builds more trust than a failed attempt.
Make explicit in every session: this platform is not for assignment completion, academic shortcuts, or any work that violates university academic integrity rules. Zero tolerance here.
Your coaching activity is real leadership experience. Record the session topic, number of participants, format, and outcome. Use it in a STAR story: 'Ran a peer-coaching session for six new student helpers on safe referral practice.'
Coach one new helper using the safe referral checklist. Record it as leadership proof for your live resume.
Start with one referral. Build proof. Grow your future.
