Business IT questions Before you request help
Do I need an IT support contract?
No. Business IT support is available pay-as-you-go for one-off problems, checks and planned changes.
What if I do not know what is wrong?
Describe what you see and what the problem is stopping you from doing. You do not need to diagnose the technical cause.
How do you charge when you do not know how long a fault will take?
You can request an assessment first. If you want work to begin, you can authorise up to the first hour at $150 including GST; we ask again before going beyond that approved limit.
Can you help remotely and onsite?
Yes, depending on the problem and availability. Many Microsoft 365, email and software issues can be handled remotely; physical and network problems may need onsite or drop-off support.
Can you help with Microsoft 365 and business email?
Yes. Common work includes Outlook, Microsoft 365 accounts, licences, OneDrive, shared mailboxes, MFA, sign-in and access issues.
What happens if troubleshooting could take longer than the amount I approved?
We use the recorded approval boundary for that request. If more paid troubleshooting or a wider scope is needed, the next stage should be explained and approved before work goes beyond the current authorised amount or scope.
Where do messages, approvals and invoices go?
Business customers can use the Business Workspace. Each request has its own Messages & updates area, with related messages, booking actions, approvals and invoices kept together.
