Payment and Commission Integrity Policy
Rules for approved payments, cash payment limits, off-platform payment exclusion, manual reward review and commission eligibility.
1. Related terms
This policy forms part of the Your IT & Tech Mates terms and must be read with our Service Terms, Terms and Conditions, Payment and Warranty Terms, Referral Terms, Referral Policy, Ambassador Network Terms, Provider Partner Terms, Provider Device Pickup Terms, Fraud, Scam and Integrity Policy, Dispute and Evidence Policy, Privacy Policy and any applicable quote, invoice, booking, service form or written approval.
2. Your IT and Tech Mates model controls
Total platform commission: 13.5%. Referral reward review: if an eligible referred job is completed and paid, the referral may be reviewed for a 5% manual reward included inside the 13.5% total platform commission and not added on top of the customer price. Payment is manual only and normally after a minimum 14-day hold, subject to anti-scam, anti-cheating, duplicate, self-referral, refund, payment-clearance and admin checks. Commission, referral rewards, ambassador rewards, partner fees, provider payments, lead fees, incentives, margins and promotional payments are governed only by the applicable Your IT & Tech Mates terms, schedules and written approvals. No external marketplace, app, platform, wallet, funds-holding, lifetime referral, recurring referral or commission model applies to Your IT & Tech Mates services.
3. Qualifying job requirement
A job only qualifies for commission or reward where it is properly recorded before work begins, accepted or approved by Your IT & Tech Mates, completed, paid in full through an approved process, cleared through any applicable hold or review period, and not cancelled, refunded, reversed, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, duplicated, artificial, related-party, self-referred or otherwise invalid.
4. Cash and off-platform payments
Cash paid directly to a technician, provider, referrer, ambassador, partner or third party does not qualify for commission or reward. Private bank transfers, private PayID transfers, unrecorded EFT, personal payment links, payment redirection, substituted invoices, side deals, split payments and off-platform payments also do not qualify.
If Your IT and Tech Mates accepts a customer cash payment directly as part of an approved business process, that payment must be receipted and recorded by Your IT and Tech Mates. Commission or reward eligibility still requires express written approval and job-level recording by Your IT and Tech Mates.
5. Artificial conduct and commission farming
Users must not create artificial jobs, split or bundle work to manipulate rewards, alter job values or timing to trigger tiers, redirect customers or providers to capture attribution, use duplicate or related accounts, self-refer, use bots or scripts, submit fake leads, submit customers without permission, or coordinate circular transactions for reward or commission purposes.
6. Holds, review and internal records
Referral rewards are held for at least 14 days after customer payment is confirmed before withdrawal can be requested. Commissions and rewards may remain pending until completion, payment clearance, expiry of any hold period, and manual review. Approved referral, ambassador, partner or commission payments generally require a minimum approved balance of $50 before withdrawal can be requested, unless Your IT & Tech Mates approves otherwise in writing. Internal balances, tally boards, reward entries and ledgers are administrative records only. They are not bank deposits, stored value accounts, financial products or guaranteed payouts.
We may use booking records, payment records, referral records, account linkage signals, device/browser indicators, IP indicators, timestamps, customer communications, call logs, invoices, photos, technician notes and other evidence to assess attribution, eligibility, disputes, refunds, chargebacks, fraud risks and policy breaches.
7. Enforcement
Where permitted by law, we may delay, reduce, cancel, reverse, offset, claw back or refuse commissions, rewards, withdrawals, partner payments or incentives where a job is unpaid, refunded, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, duplicate, off-platform, unrecorded, related-party, artificially structured or otherwise inconsistent with our terms.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
Advertising, branding and logo use
Use of the Your IT & Tech Mates name, logo, referral links, badges, screenshots, marketing material, service descriptions or promotional claims is governed by the Advertising, Branding and Logo Use Policy.
Any advertising, referral promotion, ambassador promotion, provider marketing or partner marketing must be accurate, not misleading, and must not imply employment, agency, partnership, franchise rights, exclusivity, guaranteed work, guaranteed income or official endorsement unless we expressly confirm that status in writing.
Paid ads, social posts, websites, business listings, flyers and referral promotions must not impersonate Your IT & Tech Mates, misrepresent pricing, warranty, service coverage, verification, referral rewards or commission eligibility, or encourage cash payment, direct payment, private bank transfer, side deals or off-platform work.
We may require correction, removal or takedown of misleading or unauthorised brand use and may withhold, cancel, reverse or refuse any commission, reward, referral payment or partner payment connected with misleading advertising, unauthorised brand use, fake leads, fake reviews, off-platform payments or other policy breaches.
Nothing in this clause limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
Your IT & Tech Mates Commission and Referral Model
Total platform commission: 13.5% of the relevant qualifying job value.
Referral reward review: If an eligible referred job is completed and paid, the referral may be reviewed for a 5% manual reward. That 5% is included inside the 13.5% total platform commission; it is not added on top of the customer price.
Payment is manual only and normally after a minimum 14-day hold after customer payment is confirmed, subject to anti-scam, anti-cheating, duplicate, self-referral, refund, payment-clearance, chargeback, dispute, attribution, customer-consent and admin checks.
Referral rewards are not lifetime rewards, recurring rewards, trailing commissions, employment wages, partnership profits, franchise payments or automatic entitlements. Each job is reviewed separately and must meet the applicable Your IT & Tech Mates terms.
Minimum withdrawal balance: Approved referral, ambassador, partner or commission payments are manual only and generally require a minimum approved balance of $50 before withdrawal can be requested, unless Your IT & Tech Mates approves otherwise in writing.
Cash payments, direct technician payments, private bank transfers, side deals, split payments, payment redirection and off-platform or unrecorded payments do not qualify for commission, referral rewards, ambassador rewards, partner fees, lead fees or incentives unless Your IT & Tech Mates expressly approves and records the arrangement in writing.
This clause must be read with the Payment and Commission Integrity Policy, Referral Terms, Referral Policy, Ambassador Network Terms, Provider Partner Terms and Fraud, Scam and Integrity Policy.
