Booking and cancellation policy

Clear rules for confirmed appointments, rescheduling, cancellations, access problems and missed bookings.

Last updated: 9 August 2026

When a booking is confirmed

An enquiry is not a booking. A booking is confirmed when we tell you the appointment date or arrival window and you agree to it. Where a quote or deposit is also required, we will tell you before the booking is treated as final.

Changing or cancelling a booking

Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if you need to change or cancel. We will try to reschedule without unnecessary cost. If a cancellation charge applies, it must have been disclosed before the booking and will reflect reasonable costs or losses permitted by law, taking account of whether we can rebook the time or recover supplier costs.

Special-order items

If you approved a special-order part, licence or other non-returnable item, you may need to pay reasonable unrecoverable costs even if the appointment changes. We will explain those costs rather than applying an unrelated penalty.

Missed appointments and access

If we cannot reasonably access the location, device or account at the confirmed time, we will try to contact you. A disclosed attendance or cancellation charge may apply where lawful and reasonable. We will not charge for a failure caused by us or where the law gives you a right to cancel without that charge.

If we need to change the booking

We may need to reschedule because of illness, travel disruption, a prior urgent job, supplier delay or safety issue. We will give as much notice as reasonably practicable. If the new time does not work for you, you may ask to reschedule or cancel the undelivered service, subject to your consumer rights.

Your Australian Consumer Law rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law. Consumer guarantees can apply to both personal customers and some business purchases.

If there is a problem with goods or services, your remedies depend on the circumstances and may include repair, replacement, refund, cancellation, re-supply of services or compensation. Any voluntary warranty we offer is additional to these rights.
