Quick answer

Before the website gives an AI-assisted answer, it looks only at reviewed Your IT and Tech Mates services, tools, pricing guidance and trusted content that match the customer’s problem.

The practical problem

A general AI service can write a convincing answer while missing a business’s current services, prices, local options or safety rules. For customer support, sounding fluent is less important than using the right business information.

What we built

We keep a reviewed list of public Your IT and Tech Mates information. When a customer asks for help, the website chooses a small set of relevant service pages, tools, pricing references and guidance before an answer is written.

How the workflow works

  1. The website first works out the likely help area.
  2. It looks for reviewed business information connected to that area.
  3. Only a small number of relevant sources are selected.
  4. Pricing and customer actions stay linked to the pages that actually own them.
  5. The answer is written from those sources and the customer can see useful links.

Where AI is useful

AI can turn the selected business information into clearer customer language when an AI-assisted answer is useful.

Where AI is not allowed to decide

AI cannot invent a service, make up a fixed price, override the person responsible for a topic or replace missing business information with its own general knowledge.

Security, privacy and cost controls

Only controlled public sources can be used. Raw customer searches are not turned into public knowledge, and new content enters the system only after the normal human publishing process.

What another small business can take from this

Before connecting AI to a business, decide where the real facts live. Services, prices, policies and customer actions should each have a clear source that the AI can refer back to.

What this does not prove

Using reviewed sources reduces guesswork, but those sources can still become outdated. The right fix is to update the real business page, not hide a correction inside an AI prompt.

Frequently asked questions

Does the AI answer from general internet knowledge?

The website is designed to start with reviewed Your IT and Tech Mates information that matches the question.

Can it invent a price when none is listed?

No. Pricing must stay tied to the real pricing or quote process.

Can customers see where the information came from?

Yes. Useful source links can be shown with the answer.

What if the business information is out of date?

The public source should be corrected so future answers and customers use the same updated information.

Does new website content become trusted automatically?

No. New public content still goes through human review and the normal publishing process first.
