Referral Rewards

A Simple Way to Earn Referral Rewards Without Becoming a Technician

You do not need to be a technician to refer someone. If you know a person or business that needs tech help, you can share your link or submit a referral with permission. Rewards are manually reviewed after the job is completed and paid.

Simple case study

A local customer turns regular conversations into eligible referral rewards

A local customer often hears friends talk about slow laptops, broken screens, scam messages and printer problems. Instead of trying to fix those issues, they share their referral link and let Your IT & Tech Mates handle the support. Over time, a few of those referrals become eligible completed jobs — and the customer builds a small, reviewed referral balance they can withdraw once it reaches $25.

No tools. No diagnosis. No promises made to friends about the price. Just a trusted recommendation passed on through a link.

How it works

Referral rewards are for connecting, not repairing

Some people know a lot of people who need tech help, but they are not technicians. They may be community-minded, active in local groups, working with small businesses, supporting family members, or simply known as the person who recommends good local services.

The Your IT & Tech Mates referral system gives those people a simple role: connect someone who needs help with a team that can assist. The referrer does not diagnose the problem, promise a price or handle the repair. They share the link or submit the referral with permission.

A reward only becomes eligible after the referred job is completed, paid in full and reviewed. The current reward guide is: jobs under $100 earn $0; $100–$299 may earn $10; $300–$599 may earn $20; $600+ may earn $30. The minimum withdrawal is $25 available referral balance.

All referral rewards are eligible, not guaranteed. Rewards are reviewed by Your IT & Tech Mates before becoming available. See the referral policy for full terms.

Payout process

Manual review before every withdrawal

Payouts are manual. That means a real admin review happens before a withdrawal is approved or paid. Payout details are only collected when a referrer requests a withdrawal — not at initial signup.

This is not a get-rich-quick system. It is a small reward model built around real local jobs. A person who refers one eligible job may earn a small amount. A person who regularly helps people find trusted tech support may build a small stream of referral rewards over time.

The best referrers are likely to be people who already have trust: local customers, community helpers, small business owners, support workers, neighbourhood groups and people who regularly hear about tech problems in their circle.

Staying fair

What referrers should not do

Referrers should not make fake enquiries, refer themselves, submit people without permission, claim customers who were already known to the business, or promise that a reward is guaranteed. Those behaviours can delay, reduce, cancel or refuse rewards.

The referral system includes review flags, email verification for withdrawals, fraud review and admin approval. These checks protect the business and honest referrers alike.

The best message to share is not about making money. A better message is: “These are the local tech people I mentioned. They can help with computers, phones, internet, scam safety and repairs.” That keeps the relationship honest and the recommendation trustworthy.

Common questions

Questions about earning referral rewards

Can I earn referral rewards without doing repairs?

Yes. The referral program rewards eligible introductions. Your IT and Tech Mates handles the actual support or repair review. You only need to connect the right person with the right help.

Is the reward guaranteed?

No. Rewards depend on eligibility, completion, payment and review. A reward only becomes available after the referred job is completed, paid in full and reviewed by Your IT and Tech Mates.

When can I withdraw my referral balance?

You can request a manual withdrawal once you have at least $25 available referral balance. Payout details are collected at withdrawal, not at signup.

Do you collect Tax File Numbers?

No. Your IT and Tech Mates does not collect Tax File Numbers through the referral system. Reward recipients are responsible for their own tax obligations.

What should I avoid as a referrer?

Do not make fake enquiries, refer yourself, submit people without permission, or promise guaranteed rewards. These behaviours may delay, reduce, cancel or refuse your referral reward.
