Website and contact pathway
The website should clearly explain the business, work on mobile and route enquiries to the correct business contact. The domain, hosting and administrator access should also be documented.
Business email and Microsoft 365
Professional email should be connected to the domain with secure sign-in and recovery. Microsoft 365 can then provide Outlook, Office apps and OneDrive within the agreed scope.
Device, cloud and security foundations
The primary computer and phone should be configured for the business accounts, with MFA, updates and sensible cloud storage so the owner can work without mixing personal and business access.
A real handover
The owner should know where the domain is registered, who controls Microsoft 365, how to access the website and what third-party subscriptions continue after the project.
