Start with ownership, not apps
Register or confirm the business domain in an account the business controls. Keep registrar, Microsoft 365 and website administrator access documented so the owner is not dependent on a former designer, employee or technician.
Use professional business email
A domain-based email address gives the business a consistent identity. The setup should include the domain connection, account recovery, MFA and the email-authentication records appropriate to the service.
Set up the main work computer and cloud
Configure the primary device, Office apps, OneDrive or agreed cloud storage, updates and recovery details before important files spread across personal accounts and USB drives.
Know what is included and what is separate
Microsoft licences, domains, hosting and other third-party subscriptions are normally separate from setup labour unless the written quote says otherwise. A clear handover should leave the important accounts with the business.

The Business Launch packages can include a website. The smaller Business Tech Setup focuses on the IT foundation.

The setup is designed so business-critical accounts are created or transferred in the customer business name wherever the platform allows.
