1 – Computer Pixel Repair Software
Download the free JScreenFix software program, available from JScreenFix (Just Screen Fix) or from a free download site. Open the JScreenFix applet.
Move the applet to where the dead pixel is located on the screen. If there are multiple dead pixels, you can expand the size of the applet.
Run the applet for 20 minutes. This will display fast-moving color patterns over the dead pixel area.
Check your screen after 20 minutes. The dead pixel should be removed.
2 – Screen Massage
Use a removable office sticky note to mark the location of the dead pixels, then turn off the LCD screen.
Dampen a cloth. Apply pressure to the area with the dead pixel with one finger.
While keeping pressure on the area, turn the LCD screen back on.
Remove the pressure from the screen. The dead pixel will be eliminated and will be unable to spread.
